Adds an Edit Content link to the WordPress admin bar so you can quickly jump between editing pages, posts, and other custom post types. Very helpful if you’re doing a lot of content editing.

Installation
- Upload the
admin-bar-edit-page-linksfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- That’s it!

How do I add other post types to the drop down?

Click on ‘Admin Bar Edit Content Links’ in the ‘Settings’ menu on the left. Then check the box beside the post types you want to show and click ‘Save Changes.’

First, at writing time, the plugin works well with WP 5.8
I can only say that, when you have several pages/post and more, accessing directly to what you want*, from anywhere, without stepping first by "all..." and each loading times... Is very comfortable. A feature which could/should be natively in WP.

Custom post types, generated by themes or other plugins (own post types, portflios, restaurant menus, playlists...) are well listed in the settings page and can be checked-on, to see them added to dropdown selector.
(Used in different WP sites, with different plugins, different themes... works for me.)

Switching between pages while editing was driving me crazy, this is great! Why isn't this function a standard part of the tool bar?
Just one thought: If a page is set to "private" visibility it does not show in the drop-down menu. A minor thing for me, but perhaps there's a way to fix it?

This plugin is simple and works, but it only works with standard WordPress content. It does not allow custom links and custom content types.
