Wow! Had to update a clients really old version of WordPress where Akismet had blocked over 200,000 spam comments but let over 14,000 through the net. Was a bit concerned as the plugin said WP 3 or newer, so bit the bullet and it worked perfectly.

I have WordPress 4.4.1 installed, ran this plugin and it worked like a charm! I had close to 1600 spam comments. You just click the checkbox, click the button and poof! Love it. Go to Tools to use it. Thank you for this.

Installed, activated, clicked on the link under "Tools". And, nothing. Blank page. I'm not willing to accept that it is an issue with my setup given that there is nothing unusual about the server configuration. It must be doing something not quite kosher somewhere.
