Works perfectly! After trying another dark mode plugin that was recommended by the WP Beginner blog, which worked terribly and had a lot of misleading features, this one was a relief.

Unlike some other dark plugins out there, this one looks great and is as simple as a function that calls a stylesheet without any other bloat or nagging prompts. Would love to contribute if the project is on github or somewhere else.

Just like previous comment, it'd be awesome to turn this on or off at the User level. My partner hates the dark mode and I require it. Other than that, it looks great.

The only thing this plugin is missing is the option to enable it via profile settings and have it disabled on plugin activation. I'd love to use this on our production website but not everyone on my team wants to use dark mode. EDIT: Dev added per account settings, woot!
