Embed and Integrate Etsy Shop

Description

Etsy Embed (by Embed360) helps Etsy sellers showcase their shop on WordPress without rebuilding inventory from scratch. Shoppers browse listings and product detail pages on your site, then complete checkout on Etsy — you keep your brand experience while Etsy handles payments and fulfillment.

This plugin connects WordPress to your Embed360 account, where two product lines work together:

  • Etsy Embed — Synced shop listings, rich item pages, and Pro widgets (featured listings and shop reviews carousels).
  • Listings Genie — Nova-powered Create and Optimize tools to draft and improve Etsy listings faster (available in your Embed360 dashboard).

Getting started takes minutes: install the plugin, create a free Embed360 account, connect your Etsy shop, and paste your embed token on the Etsy Embed settings page. Step-by-step guides and video walkthroughs are included.

Free plan: embed up to 10 listings at no cost — ideal for trying Etsy Embed before upgrading for more listings and Pro carousels.

The plugin does work, but the options are non-existent. You can only have one page on your Wordpress site to sync your Etsy listings to. This was no good for me because I wanted to split out my Etsy categories onto different pages. There is an option to only display one of your Etsy shop categories (instead of your whole store) on a page, but then if you turn on category listing, it still shows the entire store categories. It’s also a bit buggy. Clicking on an item shows a pretty well formatted complete Etsy listing, even with item description, but the various sections for shop policies, shipping etc also show up but they are blank. Going “back to shop” is buggy as two sets of category listings now show side-by-side. You also can’t use the browser back button after clicking into an item… nothing happens. Overall, not worth $15/month for extremely limited functionality.

This used to be an amazing plugin, and the switch to monthly subscription with majority of plugin functions being transferred to the internal Etsy360 website was not a problem for a while. However, as of a few months ago, various issues appeared – items in embedded single category display didn’t link to individual item pages for a while, though that eventually (after way too long) got resolved. The latest problem is that the item & category list are not refreshing any more. My many requests for help in the last few months have gone unanswered.*Update 01/31/25: I still haven’t received any replies, but the item & categories lists are now refreshing again. However, links to individual items pages from category pages are now again broken. Sigh. The support is dismal.
