Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install,
follow these directions:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New
  3. Search for “First Data for Paid Memberships Pro” and click “Install Now”
  4. Activate “First Data for Paid Memberships Pro” from the Plugins page
  5. Complete the configuration by navigating to Memberships -> Payment Settings
  6. Select “First Data” from the Payment Gateway dropdown list
  7. Enter your API Login and Security Key

Manual installation

How do I test the plugin before going live?

The plugin has a built-in test mode. Navigate to the configuration page at Memberships -> Payment Settings
and select “Sandbox/Testing” from the Gateway Environment dropdown list and then click the “Save Changes” button.
The API Login and Security Key fields are not required in sandbox mode and can be left blank.

The following test cards can be used in Sandbox Mode with any future expiration date:

  • Visa 4111111111111111
  • MasterCard 5424000000000015

This plugin does not integrate the FirstData Gateway (or the Payeezy Gateway) into Paid Memberships Pro. If you want to use either of those two Gateways this plugin will do NOTHING for you. According to the developer: This plugin requires a First Data merchant account with an Authorize.Net gateway. I find this to be decelptive as nowhere is this stated on the plugins description page.
