Fullworks Firewall

Lightweight Web Application firewall for use in conjuction other security plugins. The plugin works along the lines of Fail2Ban but is built for users on shared hosts where Fail2Ban isn’t an option.

The firewall blocks IP address provided by other security plugins, e.g. Stop User Enumeration, so that repeat attempts are blocked.

This firewall can happily co-exist with other security plugins such as WordFence, iThemes Security, All in One WP Security etc.

Once an IP is notified to the block list, future access attempts will be denied for 10 minutes. Any really persistent attacker will get blocked for 5 days after 5 times 10 minute blocks.

IP addresses are released as blocking forever ins’t a good idea as IPs get reused.

The firewall works with both IP 4 and IP 6 IP addresses.
