Private Files For Social Privacy


The 3rd-party Private Files plugin tightens the security of private posts by preventing clever users from obtaining unauthorized
access to contained images and other attachments.

Private Files was enhanced to respect the access permissions of the Social Access Control plugin.

  1. Upload private-files-for-social-privacy to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Plugin setting is under ‘Manage->Social Private Files’ page
  4. For other settings, please refer to the original readme file (readme-old.txt)

For RSS users, an optional ‘Unique URL authentication’ plugin can be used to automatically get authorized via personalized feed URLs
