## Description

RS Author Info Box is a functional WordPress plugin designed to easily display professional
author profiles within your website’s sidebar or widget-ready areas. This simple
tool empowers website administrators to build trust and connect with readers by 
giving a face and brief introduction to the content creators.

Key features include:
 * Display author name and professional title. * Include a
short biographical description. * Upload an author profile picture and banner image
seamlessly via the WordPress media library. * Add common social media profiles (
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Goodreads, Wattpad). * Option
to hide the widget conditionally to suit your theme layouts.

Lightweight and flexible, it simply requires adding the widget to your targeted 
widget area and configuring the straightforward form.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `rs-author-info-box` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets.
 4. Drag and drop the “RS Author Info Box” widget to a sidebar or widget area.
 5. Fill out the author details, upload images via the integrated media uploader, and
    save.

## FAQ

### Does it work with any theme?

Yes, it is designed using standard WordPress widget APIs and should be compatible
with most standardly-coded themes.

### Can I hide the widget on specific pages?

There is a built-in checkbox within the widget settings to easily hide the box on
single post pages if you only want it on the homepage snippet or archives.
