## Description

Scaleflex VXP is a next-generation WordPress plugin that empowers websites to better
manage and deliver their digital assets at scale. By combining Digital Asset Management(
DAM) and Dynamic Media Optimization (Cloudimage) in a single, easy-to-use solution,
Scaleflex VXP enables teams to streamline content workflows, reduce page load times,
and deliver superior digital experiences.

 * **Digital Asset Management (DAM):** With DAM capabilities, Scaleflex VXP allows
users to centralize their entire media library — images, videos, documents, and
more — into an organized, searchable, and highly accessible system. Beyond simple
storage, Scaleflex VXP excels at managing asset metadata, allowing users to efficiently
track, tag, and enrich assets with custom metadata fields. This ensures better
organization, faster retrieval, smarter search experiences, and full lifecycle
control of digital assets. Teams can maintain brand consistency, collaborate
seamlessly, and ensure that every asset carries complete contextual information.
 * **Dynamic Media Optimization (Cloudimage):** Cloudimage enhances website performance
by automatically optimizing media files without compromising visual quality.
Images and videos are dynamically resized, compressed, and delivered in next-
gen formats like WebP and AVIF, tailored to the user’s device and network conditions.
This leads to faster page loads, better SEO performance, improved Core Web Vitals
   scores, and enhanced user engagement.

**Key Benefits:**

 * Centralized asset management within the WordPress dashboard.
 * Comprehensive metadata management for better asset control and searchability.
 * Real-time image and video optimization for faster page loads.
 * Advanced search, tagging, and filtering capabilities.
 * CDN-powered media delivery ensuring global speed and reliability.
 * Seamless integration with existing WordPress media workflows.
 * Scalable for businesses of any size, from startups to large enterprises.

Whether you’re running an e-commerce platform, a digital publication, or a corporate
website, Scaleflex VXP gives you the tools to manage, optimize, and deliver your
media assets intelligently and efficiently — all while elevating your website’s
performance.

**How does it work?**

Scaleflex VXP seamlessly integrates into your WordPress environment, offering two
powerful solutions — **Digital Asset Management (DAM)** and **Dynamic Media Optimization(
Cloudimage)** — within a single plugin.

However, you can only activate one mode at a time: either DAM or Cloudimage, depending
on your specific needs.

This flexible setup ensures that you can tailor the plugin precisely to your content
management or performance optimization strategy.

 1. **Choose Your Mode: Scaleflex DAM or Cloudimage Mode**

 * **DAM Mode:** Centralizes your digital assets, enriches them with detailed metadata,
and crucially, delivers your assets via Scaleflex’s global CDN to accelerate
media loading and improve website performance.
 * **Cloudimage Mode:** Focuses solely on optimizing your media files, dynamically
compressing, resizing, and converting them into next-gen formats for the fastest
   possible load times.

 1. **Connect and Operate in the Selected Mode**

 * In **DAM mode**, Scaleflex VXP syncs your WordPress media to a cloud-based DAM
system, manages rich metadata, and serves media assets through a high-speed,
globally distributed CDN to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
 * In **Cloudimage mode**, Scaleflex VXP optimizes all uploaded or existing media
for size, format, and delivery speed without additional asset management functionalities.

 1. **Smart Delivery and Management**

 * Whether managing assets with enriched metadata (DAM) or optimizing them for performance(
Cloudimage), Scaleflex VXP ensures seamless operations — all within an intuitive,
   WordPress-native interface.

**In short:**

Scaleflex VXP gives you the freedom to either professionally manage, enrich, and
deliver your digital assets through CDN (DAM) or boost website performance with
automated media optimization (Cloudimage) — depending on what your project needs
most.

## FAQ

### Why are my images not going through Scaleflex VXP?

If your images aren’t processing through Scaleflex VXP, check if you have cache
services like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, or others. If this is the case, you
will need to reload the cache to enable the transformation of your URL.

If however the problem persists, please contact us directly at: hello@scaleflex.
com

### How much does Scaleflex VXP cost?

Scaleflex VXP is a SaaS that doesn’t offer a free tier for the time being. Depending
on your needs, one of our representatives can present the best match for you in
terms of plan and options included. You can request your quote [here](https://www.scaleflex.com/contact-us?utm_source=WordPress&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=vxp_wordpress_plugins_page&utm_content=organic_plugin_profile).

### Will my original images be affected?

It depends on the storage option you choose during the setup:

 * If you select **“DAM and WordPress”** as your storage location, your original
images will remain intact in your WordPress media library. No original files
   will be deleted or affected.
 * If you select **“DAM Only”**, all your original images will be transferred and
stored in the DAM platform. They will be removed from your WordPress installation
to ensure centralized management. Before choosing this option, we strongly recommend
creating a full backup of your WordPress site to prevent any potential data loss.

In summary, your original images are safe if you opt for “DAM and WordPress,” but
will be migrated to DAM and removed locally if you choose “DAM Only.”

### What happens if I deactivate Scaleflex VXP plugin?

If you were to deactivate the Scaleflex VXP plugin, your website would revert to
the condition it was in prior to the activation of the Scaleflex VXP WP plugin.
We do not apply any permanent changes to your WordPress.

However, be mindful that any meta added to your pages after the activation of Scaleflex
VXP will NOT be available after deactivation, which is why we strongly suggest to
backup your WordPress before proceeding to the deactivation.
