SEPA.net

Description

SEPA.net processes online payments with the European direct debit method and is available in 34 SEPA member states. Customers pay only using their email address and bank account. Each payment is additionally secured with a security TAN, which the customer receives through a text message, similar to online banking. During the whole process customers will stay on the website of the vendor and will not be redirected to an additional site of a payment provider.

With the SEPA.net WordPress plug-in an online shop can conveniently implement a favored payment method across the internet, the SEPA direct debit method. The plug-in can be adapted in order to match the design of the WordPress theme for the check out process, which reduces purchase abort rates since the end customer does not need to visit an external site. The option to purchase as a guest without prior registration or log-in, is used gladly from many online shopper. End customers, who have visited your shop incidentally, can purchase conveniently and quickly without prior registration or log-in goods or services. The customer-friendly and simple process reduces psychological barriers from buyers and supports sales activities of online vendors. Thus, the user experience is raised and the purchase abort rates are reduced.

Content will be provided safely and different methods can be used to do so. The easiest method would be to let SEPA.net manage the process. This process entails that through an ip-number encryption of a customer and an expiration time, a one-time download cannot be used by a third party. Alternatively, SEPA.net can embed a link to an online shop with or without htaccess protection, from which the delivery of a good can be initiated.

With the execution of a payment through SEPA.net, outstanding claims from customers will be transfered to SEPA.net (maturity factoring). Thus, if requested, a bill can be also sent to a customer with an email. A bill will be created as a HTML email using typography without creating a graphic file and will be displayed in the manner of the customers’ email account. The collections will be bundled if there are numerous small amounts from one end customer. Through a vendor backend it is always possible to track revenues and the status of a payment (collected, return debit, dunned etc.).

Payment issues are annoying for all online vendors. More than one quarter of all online vendors do not initiate a dunning procedure when the expenses are too high or the product value is too low. SEPA.net undertakes this procedure free of charge. The end customer will receive a text message, with a payment request. A text message is a more direct communication channel than an email. Therefore, we have a high success rate in this regard.

You can define the maximum amount of purchases and the buy-in amount per customer within 10 or 30 days. Undesired end customer can be blacklisted. Email addresses, telephone numbers or bank accounts, which have been misused, will be blacklisted in our database.
