This is a great example of how you don’t need to overcomplicate things, and still make a great and super useful plugin. The plugin will just hook to phpmailer_init and make it work with Mailhog. No configuration is needed, it just works. Great job 👍🏼

I’ve been using this a lot lately on my local development. Like another person said, to make it work on a docker container, you need to change the smtp host adding this line to wp_config: define( 'WP_MAILHOG_HOST', 'mailhog' );
