It adds a suite of presentation-layer features — all individually toggled from the WordPress Customizer — without modifying the parent theme: Breaking News Ticker — Display the latest headlines from any category in an eye-catching animated ticker strip at the top of every page. Customize the label, accent color, and number of posts. Reading Progress Bar — Keep readers engaged with a sleek progress bar that tracks scroll position on single posts. Adjustable color and height. Related Posts — Automatically surface relevant content below each post using category matching. Increase time- on-site and reduce bounce rate. Author Bio Box — Build trust and authority by displaying the post author’s avatar, display name, and biography after each article. Dark Mode Toggle — Give readers a comfortable reading experience in low-light environments. The chosen mode persists across sessions via localStorage — no cookies, no server requests. Custom 404 Page — Replace the default error page with a branded 404 template that includes a search form and a grid of recent posts, keeping lost visitors on your site. All features are independently enable/disable-able under Appearance Customize Newspaper Press Options. ## Features [Blog](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/blog/), [Custom background](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/custom-background/), [Custom colours](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/custom-colors/), [Custom header](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/custom-header/), [Custom logo](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/custom-logo/), [Custom menu](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/custom-menu/), [Editor style](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/editor-style/), [Featured images](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/featured-images/), [Flexible header](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/flexible-header/), [Footer widgets](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/footer-widgets/), [Full width template](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/full-width-template/), [Grid layout](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/grid-layout/), [Left sidebar](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/left-sidebar/), [Microformats](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/microformats/), [News](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/news/), [One column](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/one-column/), [Post formats](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/post-formats/), [Right sidebar](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/right-sidebar/), [Sticky post](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/sticky-post/), [Theme options](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/theme-options/), [Threaded comments](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/threaded-comments/), [Translation ready](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/translation-ready/), [Two columns](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/two-columns/), [Wide blocks](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/tags/wide-blocks/) ## Downloads per day Active Installations: **50+** ## Ratings No reviews have been submitted yet.
