Description
Choose a word or visible-character limit, suffix, applicable public post types, and whether manual excerpts always win. Baer Block-Aware Excerpts removes blocks, shortcodes and markup before truncation and works through WordPress’s normal excerpt API.
Character limits preserve Unicode grapheme clusters, so combined emoji and accented characters are not split in the middle. The plugin does not contact external services or collect telemetry.
Safety and warranty
Baer Block-Aware Excerpts changes rendered excerpt output but does not modify stored post content. Test archive layouts, feeds, REST consumers, and SEO integrations before production use. The plugin is provided without warranty to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this notice excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
