Nginx Cache

Description

Purge the Nginx cache (FastCGI, Proxy, uWSGI) automatically when content changes or manually within WordPress.

Requirements:

  • The Filesystem API needs to function without asking for credentials.
  • Nginx and PHP need to run under the same user, or PHP’s user needs write access to Nginx’s cache path.

Excellent plugin, works as expected

Thank you to the author for this plugin, which does not need fastcgi_cache_purge.

If you get the following error:
nginx: [emerg] unknown directive “fastcgi_cache_purge”
configuring NGINX, just skip the associated code and install this plugin instead.

Works Great

Works for page and post changes; not for site changes like title/description, but that’s so infrequent it should barely matter. Plus the purge command in the admin bar works great. Thanks!

Bad design?

I am sorry, but free access to the file system and/or nginx and php under the same account? Sorry, that design is only 1* for me, because I cant vote with less.

Easy setup and it works!

Absolutely fabulous! Was planning to write my own as I want things easy and straight forward. But no need after discovering this.
