Description
Shortcode Enabler for ACF is a lightweight utility plugin that enables Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) shortcode usage.
When enabled, the ACF shortcode allows access to any field on any post type. This means any user who has permission to publish posts on your site can view any ACF data if they know the field name or key. For this reason, from ACF 6.3 the shortcode is disabled by default for new installs.
This simple plugin removes the need for you to edit theme files or manually add the code snippet via an additional plugin.

FAQ
-
Do I need the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin active for this to work?
-
Yes. The plugin is designed to be used alongside ACF and has no effect without it.
-
Does this plugin work with ACF PRO?
-
Yes!
-
My content is still not showing up. Why?
-
Double-check that the “Allow Access to Value in Editor UI” toggle is activated in the field settings. It can be found in the “Presentation” tab. This allows content editors to access and display the field value in the editor UI using Block Bindings or the ACF Shortcode.
