How It Works
- Install and activate the plugin
- Select your favorite mini-games from the arsenal
- Click “✨ Enable Protection” — keys are auto-provisioned using your admin email
- That’s it. Your forms are protected.
External Services
This plugin connects to TapHuman (app.taphuman.io) for the following purposes:
- Game Delivery: Interactive CAPTCHA games are loaded via iframe from
app.taphuman.io. - API Communication: The plugin communicates with
app.taphuman.io/api/for key provisioning, connection testing, usage syncing, subscription management, and captcha token verification. - Game Registry: The plugin fetches the available game list from
taphuman.io/ecosystem.json.

Troubleshooting
If the CAPTCHA widget is not appearing on your forms:
- Check that the plugin is activated and at least one form placement is enabled in Settings TapHuman CAPTCHA.
- If you checked “Disable for Logged-In Users”, test in an Incognito/Private window.
- If you are using a caching or minification plugin (like WP Rocket, Autoptimize, or W3 Total Cache), add
app.taphuman.ioto your caching plugin’s exclusion list.
Installation
- Upload the
taphuman-captchafolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install directly through the WordPress plugin screen. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Navigate to Settings TapHuman CAPTCHA to configure.
- Select your games and form placements, then click “✨ Enable Protection”.

Do I need to create an account?

No. When you click “Enable Protection”, an account is automatically and securely provisioned using your WordPress admin email. No signup forms, no dashboards, no friction.

Is this GDPR compliant?

Yes. TapHuman collects zero behavioral telemetry, zero tracking cookies, and zero PII. There is nothing to disclose in your privacy policy because there is nothing being collected.

Does this work with WooCommerce?

Yes. TapHuman integrates natively with both the Classic Checkout and the new WooCommerce Block-based Checkout.

Your first 1,000 verified solves per month are free. After that, it’s $0.001 per solve. Spam/bot attempts that fail verification are never counted against your quota.

The current rotation includes Sunny Day Maze, Smack That Donkey, Turtle Stacker, Bubble Pop, Odd One Out, Tile Slide, Shadow Match, and Memory Flip. New games are added regularly and appear automatically.
