Didn’t work

Edited wp-config.php as per instructions–still no help. Installed Really Simple SSL and that took care of my problem files without any file editing needed.

It does not work.

[edited] No redirection will happen unless you set your site url and home url to the https:// version.

Still giving a low rating though, because you have to be an admin to use it! Need to be able to let authors and editors make these redirects.

Works as expected

Once the plugin is enabled, nothing changes so you can choose when to enable redirecting visitors to https.
Once active, works instantly and you can decide to apply the redirect to the entire site, or specific pages
